New online menus in use in Loviisa

The food services in the City of Loviisa has taken into use a new system of product supervision. With the new system the menus of the schools and early education centres are viewable on the web in an even more diverse way than before.

The online menus make it possible to, in addition to the daily meals, see more detailed information concerning the food, such as:

• product descriptions
• nutritional values
• information on the carbon footprints of the meals   

The menus are available in Finnish, Swedish and English.

The new menus facilitate the possibilities for guardians, pupils, students and personnel to acquaint themselves with the food in advance and get additional information on what the meals consists of and the environmental consequences of the meals. 

We hope that as many as possible utilize this new service and examines the additional information that the menus offer.
